April... The month we (in Mapleton/Utah) burn wood. Everyone with land and trees, trim them up and then burn the wood. It's spring time thing. There is so much wood from the long winter that you can't just throw them in the trash so April is when you can get permits to burn the wood instead. That's what you learn when you live in a small town with lots of "farming" type people.
