Day 27

Baby Blessing.
I love that my entire family was able to come up for it! They drove through the night because Court couldn't get off work. It was very nice to have them here! The Huffaker gang all came as well! We felt so much love and support from everyone! Jameson is so blessed to have such a great family on both side. We really love our families and are so thankful that we can be together for eternity!

Also, I'm very blessed for such a great priesthood leader as my husband and father of our child. He did such a great job on Jamesons blessing. It was perfect.

Day 26

Color Fest!

Welcome Spring.....
Aubs, Jake, Zack and I went to the color festival. It was a blast and that's pretty much all I have to say about that day. It wore me out. =)

(PS I'll update this with the photo later... I haven't uploaded the photos yet but we did take some)

Day 25

Let's go fly a kite.....

We're just loving spring! It's so beautiful outside! The blossoms on the fruit trees, the flowers, the warm breeze. We decided to go on a walk to the park and then fly some kites. We ran into some friends and chatted most of the afternoon and walked home during sunset. It was a fun night.

Day 24

2 month check up!

Jr got his shots today (saddest ever) and it just about broke my heart! He was so good for them, even though the nurse didn't seem to be as sensitive as I'd like. I really don't like a lot of nurses. It seems that now a days, anyone can pay money and get a nursing "degree". Poor Jameson got jabbed with some needles and cried a ton! He then was a sleep for 30 mins before crying for 4 hours straight! This wasn't his regular I'm tired, I'm hungry or i've just woken up cry... it was a heart wrenching long cry! Anyways, that was our sad day.

PS he is 50% of everything except height. He was in the 65% of height.
He is 12 lbs now! He is growing up too fast.....

Day 23

Wednesday - Middle of the week...

So today was just another day that didn't really have too much going on. I did take a photo of the boys working on the house because that is something that is a regular occurrence over here. I married such a hard worker! He amazes me everyday with his work ethic and integrity. I am constantly learning from his example. The reason they are working so much over here is because Zack's parents are going to be renting out the house soon which means - Moving day for Zack and I is getting closer and closer (cry).

Day 22

Wanna go to the Little Acorn?!?!?

That is a question I heard a lot. I wasn't sure what this place was but when we got there, I knew I'd seen it before. It's right by Zack's work and it seemed a little shady....
Well it was delicious and very cute. It's a charming little place with really good burgers. The owner and workers are nice, plus the condiments on the burgers are very fresh and tasty. Anyways..... That's one of the things we did this day & I took some photos....

March 20th.....

Day 21

Hands....

I love baby bears hands! They are so sweet and little. He likes to hold mine while he eats and almost 100% of the time. He only opens his hands when he is in a deep deep sleep. Well I wanted to make an Christmas ornament with his hand print in it.... It turned out - Ok. It reminds us of a raptor claw, lol

Day 20

We went to one of Zack's friends homecoming. It was a great talk! I got to meet a lot of Zack's friends and that's always nice.
After church, we drove around Mapleton just talking and looking at houses for sale. My mom is thinking of moving up here. It was a stormy, snowy day and I always think that is beautiful. I do love the country! I took a photo of the only bad view in mapleton. Do you see the line in the Mountain? Yeah, someone ( I'm not going to name names ,that's just rude) decided they wanted to build houses on the mountain, even though the city told them they couldn't. They built that road without permission. Ugly, huh?

Day 19

We had such a fun day in Moab. We woke up early and headed out. I love road trips, I love watching the sun rise and I love Moab!
We went through the town discovering places and hiked the arches. We saw the North & South Window and then the Double / Delicate Arch. I'm so glad we did this very fun, exhausting day trip. We did miss baby Jr though. I'm glad we didn't bring him because by the end it was stormy and windy.

Day 18

Em and Chris's wedding. We were able to go to Manti for the day and to witness these two get married. It was a white sealing and very beautiful. We loved going back to that temple. We hadn't been inside for a session in quite some time.

We got there early and got to eat at the cafeteria. We were the first to eat there so we got asked to say the prayer... I said the prayer. Lol. Very intimidating! Well after the sealing, we took some photos of these two and then headed home. On our way home, we got to stop in one of our favorite towns, Fairview, and get some food. It was a wonderful day!

Day 17

On our way to Em's pre-ception or de-ception, lol.

It was a fun night! I loved seeing the Allred family, they are like a second family to me and I mis them all dearly. I'm so happy for Em. I'll post about her wedding on the next day, since her wedding was the next day.

Anyways, the reception was fun and we were so glad we got to go to the entire thing and be social with loved ones for a few hours.

PS notice Jr's boots? yeah, they are awesome black boots just like daddy black cowboy boots. :)

Day 16

Hiking the Y :) the weather was great and so was the company! As spring is arriving, we are hoping to be doing a lot more out door activities. We've got some weight to lose and we need to get in shape for some runs that we're doing this summer.

The second photo was because we spotted JR's initials on this rock when we were almost to the top so of course we had to take a photo.

PS Jr was amazing the entire hike! He loves the outdoors which is lucky for us <3

Day 15

March 13th

We went to hike the Y. We needed to get a front carrier for Jr and so we went by Babies R Us. Well it's the weather tricked us, that's Utah for you. It was sunny and warm then changed to cloudy, stormy, windy and cold! So we got some foods and were headed home. Zack took a detour for fun and we drove out by one of our favorite places, Utah Lake. I took some photos and decided to only share this one. This one just shows cattails, which I love.

Day 14

One of my favorite places in Provo. After living in P-town for so long, I spent a lot of time here! Yes, the Provo library. I love to read and I love free books! When I have free time, I like to sit down and read a whole book. I have a problem, let me explain.

I love fiction books and I love me a good series. I rent a book and as soon as I start it, I won't do anything else until I finish it. This addiction of mine, sometimes got in the way of school work but those weeks in between semesters, I went through so many books, I was probably at this library everyday. Those wonderful Provo summers, I went to this beautiful library a whole lot. Anyways.... I've switched over to the Mapleton and Springville library because it's too far of a drive to Provo and my membership will be expiring soon.

This day I started and finished a great book so I returned it to this library and took a photo.

Day 13

Zack and I walked all over our little town taking photos, laughing, talking, playing with Jr, enjoying the weather.... This was a tree we saw on the way home.

I'll share more of my photos over on our family blog but this is the photo I choose for the photo of the day.

Day 12

5 hour horseback ride up the mountains. I love horseback ridding more than almost anything. I love climbing/scaling the mountains, I love jumping, I love running them.... there is only one thing better than quality time up in the mountains with these beautiful animals! That one thing is my husband and experiencing these things with him.

This day was amazing. We can't wait to go again! It's hard now that we have to get a babysitter every time but not impossible. We are averaging every other weekend.

Day 11

Story : I woke up at 7 to my alarm and it was weird bc that was 9 hours after I put Jameson down. I don't sleep more than 2.5 hrs at most bc my body just wakes up naturally before Jr even crys. Well this night was different, I woke up in a panic bc he didn't wake up all night long... I ran in there to see him passed out in the swing so I took a quick (not great) photo so that I'd remember. I woke him up and feed him and he fell back asleep!! Growth spurt anyone?!?!

Well the other photo is from breakfast with the girls and their boys! Thanks Nikki for hosting it :)

Day 10

Woke up with the Rodney Atkins song "Take A Back Road" in my head. Told Zack and we took some back roads and went on a drive. I do love going on drives with my best friend and I love living in a place that we can just go on a drive and it's beautiful!

Day 9

Making Jameson some Real onesies, Suns onesies, Dbacks and Cowboys. He is such a sweet boy <3

Day 8

Just helping Zack feed the cows....

Day 7

Monday was sunny and warm! Jameson and I went on a walk almost everyday this week :) He was so good and slept most of the time.

Day 6

I almost failed to take a photo this day but lucky for me, Zack reminded me and pointed out these fawn chilling in our yard. :)

Sunday, March 18, 2012

Day 5

It was a snow weekend! It snowed almost the entire week and early morning Saturday. We got there bright and early with fresh powdery snow/wonderful weather. Best day to hit the slopes.

Day 4

Fort Date Night. Pizza, Candy, Soda, and Puss & Boots. I love our family. I love my husband and I loved that night <3

March 3rd

Day 3

Movie night! I finally saw "The Vow". Great movie.

"I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands, to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home."

I know I married the perfect man. I am so thankful for my best friend, husband and father of my child, #Zack.

Day 2

Jameson smiles a lot! He laughs a lot as well. I just can't get enough of this boy! It's hard to get photos of him laughing bc he moves around while he giggles. It's the sweetest sound you'll ever here. Maybe I'll post a video on here sometime.

When he wakes up with his little cries (they are little), I come in and say "Hi, honey" and he automatically stops his crying and smiles at me! He is such a happy, loving baby.

Day 1

February 28th

The day I started this challenge. Mapleton is beautiful so I took some fun photos of our yard and this one was one of my favs. I just love living in the country!!!
